Undrugonda is a hamlet in the Chivvemla mandal in the Nalgonda district of Telangana, India. It’s 12 kilometres from Suryapet town and 3 kilometres from National Highway 65. It is an ancient Giridurgam (hill forte) built by Vishnukundinulu in the 5th century A.D. and afterwards expanded by successive kingdoms to the present day.
It is a wonderful archaeological and spiritual pilgrimage site with several temples, the most revered of which is Sri Undrugonda Laxmi Narasimha Swamy, who is worshipped by the locals. Many fortresses, hillocks, valleys, lakes, and forested vegetation combine to create a stunning eco-tourist attraction.
