By Bus:
From Itanagar, there are regular bus connections to Aalo. Buses from the Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Service (APSTS) travel to and from Aalo. Buses from Pasighat (106 km) and Moying are also available (150 km).
By Air:
Aalo’s nearest airport is Pasighat, which is located in the East Siang district. Flights to Guwahati and Kolkata are available from Pasighat Airport. From Pasighat to Aalo, one may take the bus or rent a cab/taxi.
By Train:
Murkongselek Railway Station, which is 131 kilometres from the city and serves all of Arunachal Pradesh’s main cities, is the closest railway station.
