Hingolgadh Nature Education Sanctuary

The lush green section of the Hingolgadh sanctuary stands in sharp contrast to the parched zone of surrounding Saurashtra districts. The combination of dry, deciduous scrub woodland and undulating verdant hills creates a ubiquitous embodiment of nature’s grandeur. During the rains, the savannah’s lush grasses mingle with the green of the scrubby woodland and come alive with numerous sorts of life. The sanctuary, which covers an area of 654 square kilometres, was established in 1980.

On the outskirts of the city, there is a large and magnificent zoo. A fantastic venue to spend time with family and friends. The majority of the animals may be found in a large open area. The Watson Museum displays replicas of Mohenjodaro antiquities, natural history, 13th century sculptures, temple figures, clothing, and designs of local tribal people’s dwellings. The Watson Museum also has a fantastic collection of traditional, archaeological, and monetary objects.
