Valparai Hill Station
Valparai Hill Station is located over 3500 feet above sea level in the Anamalai mountain range of the Western Ghats and is one of the greatest tourist destinations in Tamilnadu. It is 64 kilometres from Pollachi and 102 kilometres from Coimbatore. Valparai Hill Station is a pollution-free sanctuary surrounded by tea fields. It sits magnificently, surrounded by Green Spread Mountains and lovely woodland. Traveling from Pollachi to Valparai is an interesting experience in and of itself.
Aliyar Dam
Aliyar Dam is a lovely place surrounded by Annamali Hills and offers breathtaking natural vistas. It’s halfway between Pollachi and Valparai. It is 64 kilometres from Coimbatore, 24 kilometres from Pollachi, and 545 kilometres from Chennai.
Kovai Coutralam
Kovai Kutralam is a picturesque location with a calm waterfall that originates in the Siruvani hill ranges. It is located on the western ghat mountain range to the west of this city, approximately 32 kilometres from Coimbatore. The siruvani dam lies right above this water fall, and the area is managed by the state forest department. It is necessary to obtain permission from them in order to visit the Kovai Kutralam Falls. There is little bus service from the city, and this area is closed after 5 p.m. This is the only site near Coimbatore where you may discover a beautiful and fascinating waterfall.
