“In 1991, God appeared to me in my dreams and showed me Solomon’s Temple. I had never thought about Solomon’s temple before, nor had I ever dreamed of building one, but when I was vividly shown in 1991, I wrote down the temple as I saw it in my dream as soon as I awoke “, Kohhran Thianghlim Church founder, Dr.L.B. Sailo A plot of land was purchased in the eastern half, but the location was intentionally shifted owing to inaccessibility, a lack of transportation, and the insufficient size of the property purchased. The site is on the western side of India, 10 kilometres from Aizawl, the state capital of Mizoram. On December 23, 1996, the foundation stone was set.

The temple is periodically used for church services on Sundays, the Zanlai Au Aw (Midnight Herald) Anniversary, Missionary Day, and Jerusalem Khawmpui during the final half of December each year, all of which are arranged by the Publication Board of Kohhran Thianghlim. This is a spiritual gathering for all members of the church. The Church’s youth wing, Youth Evangelical Front, uses it as a location for their Voluntary Blood Donation Program.
