There is also a temple of Bharat Mata in Haridwar. This temple was inaugurated by former Prime Minister of the country Indira Gandhi in 1983. The idol of Mother India has also been installed in this grand temple. The temple is 8 storeyed. Each floor has a different theme. Statues of freedom fighters and leaders have been installed in one.
